Nestled in the heart of Cheshire, this traditional countryside pub not only retains its homely charm but also boasts a delightful selection of locally sourced foods—my dining companions and I thoroughly enjoyed both the evening menu and sumptuous breakfast offerings. The attention to detail was evident, from the impeccably clean rooms featuring flat-screen TVs and tea-making facilities to the exceptional service exemplified by the attentive staff. While we reveled in our dinners by the roaring fire, the inviting atmosphere and beautiful decor created a relaxed environment that encouraged conversation and camaraderie. Dog-friendly amenities allowed us to bring our four-legged friend along, enhancing our experience as we savored a flavoursome, hoppy bitter outside in the beer garden. The Dog in Over Peover proved to be a remarkable retreat, blending comfort and culinary excellence, and I eagerly look forward to returning.
